Mother is being charged in County Durham after seven-month-old Charlie Goodall was found unresponsive in a bath at home. Despite the efforts of paramedics, Charlie couldn’t be saved and passed away shortly after arriving at the hospital.
Now, his mother, Danielle Massey, aged 31, faces charges related to the death of her baby son. She is set to appear at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court on April 16.
The heartbreaking event occurred on February 16, 2022, when emergency services were alerted to the situation at West Chilton Terrace. Despite their best efforts, Charlie couldn’t be revived.
The community is left reeling from the loss of such a young life, and the upcoming court proceedings will likely bring more emotional challenges for all involved.
