It is cult-like following. It is like Trump supporters. They cannot exactly point to how this followership makes their life better than previous Presidents. They follow based on political affiliation, religious or ethnic affliation even though they are suffering under the President (The officer who suffered a heart attack during the Capitol riots said he voted for Trump and he is disappointed in Trump.
