Photographer Fola Stag, who took viral pictures of trending personality Farooq Oreagba at the 2024 Ojude Oba festival in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, has revealed a statement made by Mr Farouq following his newfound fame
Farooq’s photos, taken by Fola, made him an overnight sensation in Nigeria, with his name becoming one of the most searched online.
Fola’s work showcased Farooq’s balanced posture and his unique style, which captivated many.
Being the talk of the Nation, Mr Farooq was invited on Arise TV, where he talked about the Ojude Oba festival, cancer, tattoos, and many other things, Fola reached out to him on video call.
Sharing a screenshot of their video call, Fola revealed that Farooq expressed gratitude for making him famous, saying, “You don change my life ooooo.”
