Saidi Balogun has disclosed his personal challenges, including a traumatic motor accident that left him bedridden for three months

During an interview with Chude Jideonwo, Balogun recounted the harrowing experience, saying, “I fell asleep, and they said the car somersaulted. After the somersault, they found me underneath the car. I was lifeless.”
With a career spanning over four decades, Balogun reflected on his journey in the entertainment industry, starting with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
He also discussed his financial struggles in the film industry, revealing a significant loss due to piracy. “I invested N25 million in a movie and only recovered N800,000,” he shared.
Additionally, Balogun made a personal revelation, stating, “I’m like a prophet from birth. My chosen profession is to remind people of their past, help them look into their future, and shape their present.”
