The Action Peoples Party has secured 22 chairmanship positions out of 23 in the Rivers State local government election
The Chief Election Officer of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, Justice Adolphus Enebeli, announced this on Saturday in Port Harcourt, the state capital.
While declaring the results, Enebeli mentioned that the announcement for Etche Local Government Area is currently suspended due to ongoing results collation.
He indicated that the results for Etche LGA will be announced alongside the 319 councillorship seats at a later date.
