Singers Flavour and Kcee have exchanged subtle jabs on social media

The tension began when Flavour tweeted, “Copy copy akaria” without mentioning anyone specifically.
However, Kcee interpreted the message as a dig and responded aggressively.
Kcee’s series of tweets emphasized his seniority in the music industry, stating,
“We are not on the same level… I’ve been in this game before you.” He stood against anyone trying to “gatekeep” Igbo culture, asserting that the genre belongs to everyone, not just one person.
Flavour’s initial tweet seemed to imply criticism of copying or lack of originality, which Kcee took as a personal attack.
Kcee defended his music, saying it celebrates their heritage, and refused to apologize.
A fan intervened, questioning Kcee’s recent musical success, but Kcee responded harshly, insulting the fan’s parents.
