Operatives from the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) of the Nigerian police are currently interrogating Pastor Bolaji Idowu, the Lead Pastor of Harvesters International Christian Center (HICC), in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja

SaharaReporters learnt from top police sources that Pastor Idowu, also known for his “Next-Level Prayer Conference,” was arrested by the police and is under investigation for alleged real estate fraud and money laundering.
According to SH, a senior police source stated, “Pastor Bolaji Idowu, known for the Next Level Prayer Conference, has been arrested and is being questioned in Abuja over real estate fraud and money laundering.”
“He is at the FCID in Abuja as we speak,” another source confirmed.
Pastor Idowu founded Harvesters International Christian Center in December 2003. Since then, the church has expanded to multiple locations across Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
According to the church’s website, Harvesters attracts over 70,000 worshippers both online and onsite. Pastor Idowu’s “Next Level Prayers” is a platform designed to encourage participants, both online and offline, to strengthen their prayer lives.
