Yewande Adekoya has finally spoken up about her highly publicized separation from her filmmaker husband, Abiodun Ishola
The couple announced their split in 2022 after eight years of marriage.
In an interview with fellow actor Kunle Afod, Yewande shed light on the circumstances surrounding their separation.
She clarified that the incident was merely a “fallout” and described the experience as a “trial” that many marriages face.
Yewande emphasized that no marriage is immune to challenges, but it’s the couple’s ability to rebuild and strengthen their relationship that truly matters.
She said: “there’s no marriage without its moments of trial, but the strength to rebuild is what truly defines its worth”.
