Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State has declared a Christmas break for all civil servants in the state
This announcement was made by the state Commissioner for Information, Orientation, and Strategy, Mrs. Ebiuwou Koku-Obiyai.
According to the statement, the break will run from December 24 to December 30, 2024. However, workers in essential services are excluded from the break and are expected to remain on duty as usual.
The governor also extended his heartfelt appreciation to residents for their unwavering support and wished everyone a joyful Christmas celebration and a prosperous New Year.
