Tragedy struck on Thursday as a middle-aged died after he was struck by a fallen broadcast mast at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium
The mast had fallen on the man during a heavy breeze that preceded a downpour which disrupted a praise night planned as part of activities to mark Governor Monday Okpebholo’s 100 days in office.
The man was said to be the driver of the decorator and was k!lled by the mast when he tried to salvage his boss’s decorating materials.
