The former governor of Rivers State and current FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, has reportedly met with the suspended members of the Rivers State House of Assembly in the United Kingdom, amid the ongoing political turmoil and mounting calls for a state of emergency in the state
The meeting was revealed in a post shared on X (formerly Twitter).
According to multiple reports, the delegation to the UK was led by the factional Speaker, Martins Amaewhule.
The Speaker’s special assistant confirmed the gathering, stating that the purpose of the visit was to gain fresh perspectives away from the political tension in Nigeria, with the aim of improving legislative practices.
