The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has confirmed that ex-militant leader Government Ekpemupolo, widely known as Tompolo, will be questioned over alleged naira abuse
This comes after a viral video surfaced showing Tompolo being sprayed with N1,000 notes while dancing at his 54th birthday celebration in April.
The footage stirred outrage on social media, with many Nigerians calling on the EFCC to take action.
Responding to the public outcry, the EFCC issued a statement on its official social media platforms, declaring: “Nobody is above the law. Tompolo will have questions to answer!”
