Fashion designer Veekee James has accused a Senegalese designer, King Corset, of stealing her design without crediting her work

Veekee James took to Instagram to express her outrage after King Corset created a documentary featuring an exact replica of her viral dress
She criticized the designer for lacking originality and accused them of theft, questioning how they expected to succeed in the industry by copying others’ work without acknowledgment.
Despite her frustration, Veekee James wished King Corset well, noting that the controversy had given them free publicity.
She wrote: “Some of you designers in this industry are many MAD.
Like seriously mad!
How on earth do you copy someone’s viral design 100% and have the guts to do a documentary Imac
The reason why a lot of you will never grow or last long in this industry is your lack of originality and effort! The height is copying someone without even acknowledging them!
Like what’s the difference between you and a thief?
How do you all think God blesses the works of your hands? By stealing? Smh there’s more where the creativity came from that’s why I don’t bother with yall these days but this had to be said! I wish you all well as you strive to
excel in this industry!
Free publicity for you btw “king corset’”
