The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin is d8ad. His d8ath comes two days after his 90th birthday.
The monarch turned 90 on Saturday, and gave up the ghost early hours of Monday, July 7, 2025
This brings an end to a brief reign that lasted only one year.
He ascended the throne of his fathers in July 2024 and received his staff of office from Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, on July 12, 2024.
Born on July 5, 1935, Oba Olakulehin became the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland following the passing of his predecessor, Oba (Dr.) Moshood Lekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II, who d!ed on March 14, 2024, at the age of 81.
