Wife of basketballer, Dwight Howard, Amy Luciani files for divorce 6 months into marriage
According to court documents, Amy filed for divorce on July 1 in Georgia, citing that the marriage is “irretrievably broken” with “no prospects for reconciliation.” She is seeking alimony and a fair division of marital assets. A mutual restraining order was also filed the following day.
The pair tied the knot on January 11, 2025, following a December 2024 engagement that was publicly shared on social media.
Amy Luciani, also known for her role on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, is a rapper and entrepreneur. She also published a children’s book titled Amy’s World in 2023.
Howard, 39, a former NBA champion and Hall of Fame inductee, now plays in the Big3 League. He has yet to publicly respond to the divorce filing.
The breakup comes as a surprise to fans, given how quickly the relationship escalated—and now dissolved—within a few months.
