Abuja-based lawyer and social commentator, Deji Adeyanju, has gifted N8 million to the two best graduating students of the Nigerian Law School in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements

The cash awards were presented on Friday when the two recipients visited the Abuja office of Adeyanju’s law firm.
Oluwabusayo Ifonlaja, who made history as the best graduating student with a record-breaking 18 academic awards, received N5 million. Maryam Abiodun Lawal, who emerged as the second-best graduating student and best female graduate with eight academic honors, was awarded N3 million.
In a brief message to journalists, Adeyanju stated:
“Our firm awarded Oluwabusayo Ifonlaja a cash prize of N5,000,000, while Maryam Abiodun Lawal received the sum of N3,000,000. Their extraordinary achievements stand as a testament to the power of diligence, discipline, and determination, and serve as an inspiration to future lawyers.”
Both Oluwabusayo and Maryam were among those recently called to the Nigerian Bar as Barristers and Solicitors of the Supreme Court.
