TikToker, Peller has revealed that he has chosen his preferred candidate from the 20 master’s degree holders who applied for the role of a cameraman
It was earlier reported that Peller advertised the position, stating that only applicants with an MSc qualification would be considered.
In a new video update, he announced:
“I’ve finally chosen the cameraman from the 20 people that came yesterday.”
The interview process, which was streamed live, stirred controversy after a female applicant accused Peller of mocking her tribe and body size.
Addressing the backlash, Peller insisted the comments were made in jest and that all applicants had been informed ahead of time that the interview would be broadcast publicly.
“I was joking,” he explained. “I told everyone it would be live. I didn’t drag anyone to apply, so stop putting the blame on me.”
