Chioma Good Hair has sent a message to a fan against marriage pressure.
While responding to a fan on Snapchat, Chioma admonished her not to pressure her into marriage.
“I know you mean well, but I don’t like messages like this, Rama. Don’t put pressure on me, please. It’s too late, lol. With all the technology in the world, stop it!
Plus, I’m in my 30s, I’ve got time!
We are not in 1885 anymore
And I promise you that I’m not married right now. It’s not by circumstance. It’s by choice. I’m not going to settle because everyone’s walking down the aisle, and some are getting divorced six months later. Please, God’s timing is everything. I’ll do it right.
Love you though because I know you mean well”.
In another post, Chioma revealed that anyone who would’ve married her before 30 would have cried because she wasn’t ready.
“Tbh, anyone that would’ve married me before 30 would’ve cried because I truly wasn’t ready. I still wanted to travel the world, grow in my career and be free. Am I satisfied now – yes! Am I ready now? Yes! Am I desperate – absolutely if not!
Some people have been ready since they were 16 years old—that’s all good. That wasn’t me. “
