A former military Governor of Ondo State, Bode George has disclosed Davido’s father, billionaire Adedeji Adeleke and the State Governor, Ademola Adeleke have allegedly been covering workers’ salaries in Osun State from their personal pockets
George made the claim during an interview on Nigeria Info FM Lagos 99.3.
Commenting on the Federal Government’s withholding of local government funds, George stated that the Adelekes have reportedly been paying workers’ salaries out of their pockets for the past six months.
He added that Osun State is owed over N5 billion in local government allocations from the Federation Account.
George also revealed that in a recent conversation with Governor Ademola Adeleke, the governor mentioned he is contemplating leaving the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
