Daughter of slain Iranian General says US soldiers’ families “will spend their days waiting for the death of their children”

The daughter of slain Iranian General Qassem Soleimani issued a chilling threat to US troops on state TV.

Zeinab Soleimani swore during her father’s funeral that US soldiers’ families “will spend their days waiting for the death of their children”.

Ms Soleimani’s threat of the attack on the U.S. military in the Middle East was made while speaking to a cheering crowd of hundreds of thousands in Tehran that stretched as far as the eye could see.

Her threat was echoed by Gen Soleimani’s replacement, Esmail Ghaani, who has vowed to take revenge in an interview with Iranian state TV.

He said: “We promise to continue down martyr Soleimani’s path as firmly as before with the help of God, and in return for his martyrdom we aim to get rid of America from the region.”

The assassination of General Soleimani was a US retaliation for an Iranian backed attack on the US embassy in Iraq and fears that he was plotting against American diplomats.

Since the attack, Iran has made a full withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal that was painstakingly accomplished after decades of negotiation to bring peace to the region.

Iran has also put an $80 million bounty on Trump’s head and has threatened to ‘turn day into night’ as Trump continues to goad and mock them on Twitter.
