Selena Gomez’s wedding to Benny Blanco is another Cinderella story
After all, her wedding gowns were fit for a princess. And days after her Sept. 27 nuptials, the Rare Beauty founder unveiled a third dress she wore for the special day—another custom Ralph Lauren gown she donned for her reception.
The first—the dress she was wearing in her original wedding post—was an elegant “double-faced” silk satin dress, featuring hand draped panels and a halter neckline lined with “hand-cut lace and a delicate macrame collar,” per the designer.
The second, which Selena wore during her ceremony, was a lacy alternative to the first. While the silhouette featured a similar halter neckline, the 33-year-old’s second gown featured “300 hand-shaped and applied lace flowers,” with Ralph Lauren noting it took its artisans over 200 hours to embroider.
The corset featured included crystal embellishments and hand-painted designs—plus an embroidered inscription of the couple’s wedding date and initials.
But Selena wasn’t the only half of the couple getting the royal treatment from Ralph Lauren. Benny also donned a luxurious look from the brand, his tuxedo a made-to-measure piece from Ralph Lauren Purple Label. His outfit also featured French cuffs, a silk satin bow tie and velvet slippers.
Of their nuptials, the music producer wrote on Instagram, “I married a real life disney princess. I love you soooo much.”
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco began dating in July 2023, around Selena’s birthday, Benny said on the Howard Stern Show in May 2024.
But they only began to spark romance rumors in late 2023. That December, Selena confirmed the speculation, commenting on a fan page’s Instagram post, regarding Benny, “He is my absolute everything in my heart.”
