A petition from D.I. Aiyedun & Co. to the Inspector General of Police accuses former Senator Ishaku Elisha Abbo of r3ping 13-year-old Khadija Muhammad and attempting to r3pe her 16-year-old sister, Fatima Muhammad, in Abuja
The petition also alleges criminal intimidation of the girls and their parents.
Addressed to the IGP and the Deputy Commissioner of Police – Gender, Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), the petition details the abuse and trauma allegedly inflicted by Abbo and his accomplices.
The primary incident reportedly occurred on June 29, 2025, at Abbo’s residence in Katampe Extension, Abuja, where Khadija was lured by 17-year-old Nafisa Mohammed Chigli.
The petition states Abbo overpowered Khadija, applied baby oil, and attempted to forcibly penetrate her. Afterward, he allegedly cleaned himself with a white cloth.
Khadija reported the assault to her father, who took no action.
Fatima was similarly lured to Abbo’s residence by Zara Muhammad Chigli but escaped before the assault was completed, though the attempt highlights a pattern of predatory behavior.
Abbo turned himself in at the FCID in Abuja following the petition.
The girls’ parents claimed former Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed “Binani” visited them to suppress the scandal and that Abbo sent money to the father to silence the matter. As of the latest report, Abbo remained in FCID custody.
