The All Progressives Congress (APC) has disqualified Ekiti State gubernatorial aspirant Engr Kayode Ojo from taking part in the party’s primary election and the state’s governorship race
The decision came shortly after Ojo visited the party’s secretariat in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday, where he was reportedly denied reception by APC executives.
Ojo had arrived with thousands of supporters from all 16 local government areas of the state, causing a major stir in Ado-Ekiti ahead of the party’s primary scheduled for October 27.
According to a report by TVC News, Ojo is now officially barred from contesting in the gubernatorial election.
