Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has opened up about her thoughts on Afrobeats star Davido during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo
While she admitted to enjoying his music, Henshaw said she is “not a fan” due to a personal encounter where Davido reportedly did not greet her.

“I’m old enough. He didn’t greet me, and for me, I believe you should be respectful,” she said, emphasizing that personality and respect matter just as much as talent.
Despite this, Henshaw praised Davido for his accomplishments and philanthropic efforts. She highlighted his generosity, recalling when he donated birthday gifts to charity, and commended his unapologetic representation of Nigeria on the global stage, including his music being featured in Coming to America 2.
Henshaw acknowledged the tragedy and challenges Davido has faced, saying, “There is joy. There’s always light at the end of the tunnel if we hold on.”
Chude jokingly concluded the segment by reminding Davido, “But Davido, greet your elders,” a point Henshaw clearly felt strongly about.
In essence, while Henshaw admires Davido’s work and impact, she made it clear that respect and personal conduct play a key role in how she perceives people.
