Tiwa Savage has clarified her statement about considering being a second wife, which sparked considerable surprise among fans
In her explanation, Tiwa revealed that her past romantic experiences have left her with deep emotional wounds.
She shared her perspective, noting that even as a first and only wife, she has faced heartbreak.
“I was a first wife, and look where that got me. I married as the only wife, yet here I am. I’m exhausted from heartbreak. Perhaps I’m approaching this wrong; maybe I should think about being a second wife,” she stated.
However, she clarified that her initial comment was not a serious proposition for polygamy.
Tiwa emphasized that she has no genuine interest in becoming a second wife and that her remarks stemmed from her frustrations and emotional honesty rather than intent.
“It’s not a choice I want to make. I don’t wish for this. I wish I could express my truth freely, but I fear backlash,” she concluded.
