Rapper Olamide has put to rest rumors of a rift with Asake, saying they are still a “family” despite Asake’s departure from YBNL
During a BBC interview, Olamide emphasized that business decisions haven’t affected their personal bond.

The YBNL founder reassured fans that he and Asake are still cool, with Olamide considering Asake “my brother for life”.
He said: “We’re still family. That’s my brother for life. It’s always the same thing with me and all my people, business is never personal, and after business, life goes on,”
Asake’s exit from YBNL and subsequent changes to his social media presence had sparked speculation, but Olamide’s words confirm all is well between them.
