Comedian Seyi Law has stirred fresh reactions after stating that the country is more secure now than it was ten years ago
Speaking during an appearance on The Honest Bunch Podcast, the outspoken entertainer reiterated his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, arguing that the current government has recorded notable progress in tackling insecurity.

When co-host Daddy Freeze asked whether Nigeria is safer today compared to a decade ago, Seyi Law responded firmly, “Nigeria is safer now than 10 years ago.”
He maintained that more bandits have been eliminated under Tinubu’s leadership than in previous administrations, including during the tenure of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
He also questioned when last Nigerians witnessed frequent large-scale blasts, suggesting that the intensity of terror has reduced.
However, activist Zekeri, who was also on the show, rejected that claim. He argued that insecurity remains widespread, referencing recent attacks in the Northeast, increasing kidnappings, and the deaths of high-ranking military officers.
