U.S. lawmaker Riley Moore has delivered a report on the persecution of Christians in Nigeria to President Donald Trump at the White House.

Moore, who was part of a U.S. fact-finding delegation to Nigeria, announced on X that he submitted the report on what he described as Christian genocide in the country.

“Just presented our report on the persecution of Christians in Nigeria to the White House,” Moore wrote, sharing a photo of himself holding a manila envelope. “More to come.”

The submission follows Moore’s visit to Nigeria with other U.S. officials on a fact-finding mission earlier this year.

The report comes amid ongoing claims of Christian persecution in Nigeria, which President Bola Tinubu’s administration has consistently denied. Last year, Trump redesignated Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern and ordered airstrikes against terrorists in Sokoto on Christmas Day.
