Justice Joyce Abdulmalik of the Federal High Court in Abuja has postponed the arraignment of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai to April 23
The adjournment follows the filing of a three-count charge by the DSS, accusing El-Rufai of unlawful interception of communications based on remarks he made during a television interview.

The court had initially scheduled the arraignment for February 25.
El-Rufai was absent from Wednesday’s proceedings. DSS counsel Oluwole Aladedoyin informed the court that the former governor remains in the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), where he is under investigation for alleged misappropriation of funds.
Following this update, Justice Abdulmalik adjourned the case to April 23 for El-Rufai’s arraignment.
