Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has pledged to collaborate closely with members of the state House of Assembly to achieve tangible results for citizens
Governor Fubara made the remarks while congratulating Ukalikpe Napoleon and Loolo Bulabari Henrietta, winners of recent bye-elections in the Ahoada East II and Khana State II constituencies.

The elections, held on Saturday, February 21, by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), were conducted to fill vacant seats in the House. Both winners, representing the All Progressives Congress (APC), secured victories in their respective constituencies.
Describing their success as well-deserved, the governor encouraged the new lawmakers to diligently serve their constituents and honor the trust placed in them.
“It is the beauty of democracy. When the people believe in your capacity, they will give you their votes,” he said.
He added, “I look forward to working with them and their colleagues in the Rivers State House of Assembly for the progress of our state.”
Governor Fubara also praised the residents of Ahoada East and Khana for their peaceful conduct before, during, and after the elections, describing it as a sign of democratic maturity.
