The political landscape in the Adamawa State House of Assembly has changed after 15 lawmakers, including the Speaker, defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC)
The defections were announced through a letter read during a preliminary sitting of the Assembly.
In the letter, the lawmakers cited the ongoing internal crisis within the PDP as their reason for leaving the party.
Following the move, the APC has become the majority party in the Adamawa State House of Assembly.
