Natasha Osawaru Idibia, wife of legendary singer 2Baba, has expressed delight as she resumes back at her office in the Edo State House of Assembly after months of maternity leave.
The lawmaker, who welcomed her first child with 2Baba late last year, shared a video on her Instagram story showing her at the Assembly, addressing colleagues.
Beaming with joy, she said:
“I am happy to be back, too, from my maternity leave, Mr Speaker.”
The couple had celebrated the arrival of their newborn in November, keeping the baby’s gender under wraps and playfully teasing fans online.
Last month, they formally dedicated the child in a Catholic Church, where 2Baba, Natasha, and his mother were all pictured with the little one during the ceremony.
Natasha’s return marks a joyful moment as she balances her roles as a new mother and public servant.
