The 2023 Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has celebrated former President Olusegun Obasanjo on his 89th birthday, describing him as a leader defined by service, courage, and dedication to national unity
In a message shared on his official X account on Thursday, Atiku commended Obasanjo’s contributions to Nigeria’s development and cohesion, noting that his legacy continues to resonate.
“As President Olusegun Obasanjo marks his 89th birthday, I celebrate a life that has been defined by service, courage, and an enduring commitment to Nigeria. His journey has been remarkable, and his contributions to the unity and progress of our country are truly significant,” Atiku wrote.
He described Obasanjo’s life as a testament to leadership and devotion to the Nigerian project, while also offering prayers for the elder statesman’s continued health and strength.
