Actor and content creator Kamo State has revealed that a recent disappointment forced him to step away from the public eye for three days, describing the experience as deeply transformative
In an Instagram post on Thursday, the skit maker explained that the disappointment tested his emotional limits and strengthened his faith in God.

During his brief withdrawal, he said he found comfort in gospel music from BBO and Grace Idowu, though he admitted he struggled to pray and spent much of the time in tears, questioning humanity despite his own sacrifices.
“Recently, I faced a deep disappointment. It was a turning point, reinforcing my trust in God rather than in people. The pain was overwhelming, and I withdrew for three days, which is unlike me. During that time, I found solace in @officialbbo_ & @gracee_idowu songs. I couldn’t pray, only cry, asking God why humans can be so disappointing despite the sacrifices we make,” he shared.
Kamo State reflected on the lessons from the experience, citing Proverbs 3:5-6 and the importance of trusting God. He also revealed that he has forgiven the person who let him down, understanding that forgiveness is key to receiving blessings.
He added that the period of reflection renewed his confidence in himself, his dreams, and his career. “Some of the times we show up online as creatives, we are battling our own struggles. This experience has reignited my confidence, making me fearless. We just reached 1 million organic followers on Instagram! God has been faithful; He won’t let me down. He will wipe my tears, rewrite my story, and ensure I am not mocked or shamed. This is a new chapter — a chapter of God’s takeover. Watch this space!”
