Broda Shaggi has broken silence, addressing social media in the early hours of the morning amid widespread speculation over reports that he was hospitalised after being shot
On March 13, 2026, several outlets circulated claims that the entertainer had been injured in a shooting in the Sango‑Ota area of Ogun State, reportedly beneath the Sango‑Ota bridge.
Although the precise circumstances of the alleged incident remain unclear, an unnamed police source suggested the comedian was shot while filming a skit at the location and was taken to Blooming Care Hospital in the Alakuko area of Lagos for treatment.
In response to the swirl of rumours, Broda Shaggi made a cryptic post in the early hours of the morning on his official Instagram account (since deleted).
Posting around 4 a.m., he hinted at wanting to speak his mind but said any attempt to do so would be removed.
In the message, he encouraged followers to strive to be good people, writing: “But if you are gonna leave this world behind, leave it as a good person. It is 4 am and I wish like pouring out my mind but I can’t cos they will be deleted.”
At the time of his post, he did not directly confirm or deny the details of the reported shooting.
