Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi Aloba, has hit back at her late husband’s father, Joseph Aloba, over his DNA claims
In a firm statement, Wunmi stressed that Mohbads father must adhere to court orders, adding that he would have to “beg” her for any progress to be made.
She warned that ignoring legal procedures could prolong the matter into a drawn-out court battle.
Contradicting claims made by Mohbad’s father, Wunmi affirmed that she has always supported conducting a DNA test.
She said efforts to clarify her position privately had been overlooked and dismissed accusations that she chose an unverified hospital for the procedure, calling the allegation false and something she had intentionally not addressed earlier.
“I’ll keep proving that your actions won’t affect me. What the court asked you to do, beg me. Refusing to comply with court orders means we’re in for a long battle. I’m glad you finally acknowledged you have no power over Liam. Whether it’s the High Court, Ikeja, or Appeal Court, the truth remains unchanged.
My people have been trying to make you see that I was the one who asked for a DNA test, but you never believed them. Now that the truth is out, I hope it has been established. If I had refused from the start, no progress would have been made. You falsely claimed I chose a fake hospital, a lie I intentionally didn’t debunk so you could enjoy the moment,” she said.
