In a heartfelt video shared, Nigerian actor Patrick Doyle has opened up for the first time following the devastating loss of his newborn daughter, with his message centered strongly on faith, endurance, and spiritual strength.
The actor and his wife, Funmilayo, had welcomed their first child together on April 10, a baby girl named Omayinuwa. Doyle had earlier announced the joyful arrival on social media, but returned just a day later with the painful news of her passing.
In the emotional video, he chose not to dwell on the circumstances of the loss, but instead reflected on how his faith in God has sustained him through repeated personal tragedies.
He said:
“I have known the pain of losing a beloved wife, the heartbreak of burying a son and now the fresh wound of laying to rest a child born a few days ago”
His tone throughout the message remained reflective and grounded in spirituality, as he spoke about finding strength in God despite overwhelming grief.
