Reality TV star and entrepreneur Whitemoney has raised concerns over what he described as excessive parking fees at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, after claiming he was charged ₦206,000 for leaving his car at the facility for four nights.
Taking to social media to express his frustration, the former Big Brother Naija winner questioned the pricing structure, noting that the amount seemed unreasonable for a short stay.
“I paid ₦206,000 for parking my car from Friday to Monday. This is very outrageous. How do you pay ₦50,000 to park overnight?” he said.
Whitemoney directed his complaint to the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, calling for attention to what he believes is an unfair cost burden on travelers using the airport.
The development has sparked conversations online, with many Nigerians sharing similar concerns about rising costs associated with airport services, while others called for greater transparency in fee structures.
As of now, airport authorities have not publicly responded to the allegation.
