A UK based Nigerian man identified as Ugo has announced himself and wife are no longer together
Ugo and his wife got married in 2023 and welcomed their first child together in 2024.
During her pregnancy, Ugo frequently shared vlogs about their relationship and family life. In one of the videos, he spoke emotionally about wanting his wife to enjoy a comfortable life and revealed he was working on creating a pregnancy app for her.
The couple later relocated to the United Kingdom, where Ugo said he was paying her school fees while also taking care of the family financially.
After she gave birth to their child, he bought her a car as a push gift and also created an app dedicated to her and their baby, with many social media users praising their relationship and describing them as genuinely in love.
However, things took a dramatic turn on April 8, 2026, after Ugo publicly accused his wife of cheating on him with another man inside their home while he was allegedly working hard to pay her tuition fees.
He further claimed that even after being caught, she still expected him to continue sponsoring her education.
“It’s crazy you’re in my house, sleeping with another man, but I’m in London working my ass out to pay your fucking school fees in GBP?? No! Send your tuition to that man. He’s man enough to sleep with another man’s wife, he should match it with his funds. Divorce finalised, gtf!!”, he wrote.
The situation escalated after an X user identified as Funmi questioned why he decided to bring the matter to social media, advising him to forgive his wife because “it is the work of the devil.”
Responding to the criticism, Ugo said he initially had no intention of taking the issue online but alleged that his in-laws did not see anything wrong with her actions and were still demanding that he continue paying her school fees.
He also claimed he personally knows the man involved and accused him of constantly viewing his Instagram and X posts.
According to Ugo, messages between the pair allegedly showed the man telling his wife he misses her and cannot wait to see her again, while she allegedly replied, “as you should.”
“Because her family didn’t see any wrong in it, but have the audacity to ask me about her tuition. Also I know the man, and his stupid ass is on my Instagram and X viewing my posts. Talmbout, “I miss you, when am I seeing you again” while she responds “as you should”. Toh!”, he said.
