Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has weighed in on the outcome of this year’s Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), sharing her thoughts on both the results and the broader selection process.
Speaking after the ceremony held over the weekend, she made it clear that personal differences do not cloud her professional judgment, especially when it comes to talent recognition in the industry.
In her view, actor Yul Edochie remains one of the standout performers who should not be overlooked.
She also suggested that the award organisers could refine their decision-making process to better reflect deserving performances, even as she congratulated all the winners who walked away with awards on the night.
She stated:
“Hate aside,
Yul Edochie is a fantastic actor, and he deserves a win.AMVCA, you people can do better.
Congratulations to all the amazing winners tho.
No hate zone”.
