A UK-based Nigerian man, Ugo, who announced that he has finalised his divorce, has shared further details about the breakdown of his marriage, revealing that a prenuptial agreement prevents his estranged wife from accessing his assets
Ugo had earlier posted that his divorce was officially concluded, referring to his former partner as his “ex-wife” and confirming that the relationship had legally ended.

Responding to questions from social media users about whether the split involved a 50/50 property settlement, he stated clearly that the couple signed a prenup before marriage, which protects his finances.
When asked if his ex-wife would be deported, Ugo alleged that her family had attempted to initiate his deportation by filing a false domestic violence report against him.
According to him, the matter was investigated by social services and found to be untrue, after which the situation reportedly backfired.
He further claimed that his estranged wife is now back in Lagos and currently residing at her father’s house.
In his words:
“UGO’s wife. UGO’s wife. Divorce is finalised. It’s ex-wife.”
When questioned about asset sharing, he replied:
“Signed a prenup.”
And addressing the deportation claims, he added:
“Her family got her deported by trying to get me deported with false DV accusations that was investigated by social services who found it to be false and it backfired. She’s in Lagos, in her father’s house.”
