Peter Obi has reiterated his commitment to serving only one term of four years if elected president, stressing that he would not extend his stay in office under any circumstance
Obi made the remark in a clip from an interview set to air on News Central TV on Thursday.

“I want to be a one-term president because of stability. I would not stay a day, with a gun to my head, longer than four years,” he said in the circulating video.
He explained that his position is driven by the need for political stability and leadership discipline, insisting that his promise is non-negotiable.
The former Anambra State governor also took a swipe at the current administration’s economic direction, criticising rising debt levels and the worsening cost of living, which he said reflect one of Nigeria’s most challenging economic periods in recent times.
