The Federal High Court in Abuja has granted bail to detained social commentator Justice Chidiebere, popularly known as “Justice Crack.”
The Federal Government had earlier on Monday commenced its case against him before the court.

Delivering the ruling, Justice Joyce Abdulmalik of the Federal High Court admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N5 million, with one surety in the same amount.
Justice Crack is being prosecuted by the Department of State Services (DSS) over alleged cybercrime offences linked to a viral video involving commentary on the Nigerian Army.
Proceedings on his bail application had earlier been stalled last Thursday following a dispute between two lawyers who both claimed to have been engaged to represent him in court.
