Lege Miami has shared a deeply personal account of his past relationships, reflecting on love, sacrifice, and repeated heartbreak tied to differences in education and communication.
According to him, his struggles began early in life as he took on responsibilities from a young age while also supporting partners he deeply cared for.
“How some women used me and never got married to me just because l didn’t go to school and l couldn’t speak good English after paying for their school fees and sending another girl to United Kingdom.”
He recalled starting work as early as 16, during which time he was in a serious relationship with a woman he described as his first deep love. He said he supported her fully through her academic journey at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
“I have started labouring as early as 16yrs, then l used to have a girlfriend that l loved so much, l have all our pictures from when she got admission into OAU in Ibadan to study Law”.
He added that he stayed committed throughout her studies, even attending her matriculation ceremony and handling her financial needs.
“On the day of her matriculation l was with her , l paid her school fees through out, l was busy working for her to be comfortable”.
Lege Miami said his involvement in acting was influenced by her admiration for actors, a move he made partly to please her.
“It was because of her l joined Acting because she used to love Actors”
However, he said the relationship eventually ended when she concluded they were not compatible and cited his educational background.
“When she got to her final year she called and told me we are no more compatible, that l am an illiterate and she can’t get married to someone like me”
He explained that the separation left him confused and hurt.
“I was so confused and shocked, she left”.
He went on to recount another relationship in which he also invested emotionally, noting that it produced children but still ended in separation.
“I started dating another woman, she was the one that gave birth to Mercy and David”
According to him, that relationship also ended on the grounds of incompatibility.
“She too said we are not compatible”
He concluded by noting that he later moved on to another relationship.
“I met the third lady”
