Actress Opeyemi Aiyeola has openly expressed deep concern over what she describes as worsening insecurity and tension in Oyo State and parts of Yorubaland, while also questioning the silence of prominent figures in the entertainment and political space.
In her emotional message, she mentioned several well-known personalities and traditional leaders, asking why they have not used their platforms to address the situation or raise awareness.
She said:
“Where’s Actress Funke Akindele, Actress Toyin Abraham, Actress Eniola Badmus, Actor Lege Miami, Yomi Fasolanzo, Alafin of Oyo, Ooni of Ife, Pres Bola Ahmed Tinubu and my other colleagues?
What’s happening in 0y0 stat£ and Yoruba land generally?..
Why are they not spreading it on their large platforms?.
This is actually closer to home now, there’s a serious fire on the mountain, we can’t keep quiet and watch these people take over My land and continue to kpai our people, this have stop

Her remarks reflect growing anxiety among some residents and observers who believe more influential voices should be speaking out on the reported unrest and security challenges affecting the region.
