Ayo Kuti has made a bold comment about Wizkid’s fanbase during a podcast appearance, and he didn’t hold back.
The grandson of Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti was initially advised on the show not to speak negatively about Wizkid, just so he wouldn’t attract the anger of Wizkid FC. But instead of backing down, Ayo went harder, insisting he isn’t worried about any fanbase.

He said:
“Wizkid FC can’t do me anything, nobody can touch me in this country. Fela Kuti and Femi Kuti have already received enough beat!ngs to cover our next five generations
My granddad, Fela Kuti, was extremely mischievous when he was alive.”
He also leaned on his family name, suggesting that his lineage alone gives him a kind of immunity, and even recalled a moment where some street guys reportedly changed their attitude after realising he’s from the Kuti family.
