Reality TV couple Patrick Mendes and Thais Ramone are heading toward a split after four years of marriage, with Patrick officially filing for divorce and requesting sole legal custody of their young daughter.
According to a court documents obtained by TMZ, Patrick is asking the court to grant him sole legal custody and primary physical custody of the couple’s 3-year-old daughter, Aleesi. The filing reportedly states that the child has been living with him since May 6, and Patrick listed a separate residence from the home he previously shared with Thais.
The documents also reveal financial details surrounding the breakup. Patrick claims he earns around $10,000 per month, while Thais brings in approximately $5,000 monthly. Because of the income situation, he is not pursuing child support or spousal support from her.
While support payments are off the table, Patrick is requesting ownership of several shared assets, including their Honda Ridgeline, an $8,000 Fidelity 401K account, and even their Tempur-Pedic mattress.

The filing does not go into detail about the cause of the breakup, only stating that the couple is “incompatible.”
According to TMZ, a representative for the couple said:

Domestic matters can be deeply emotional and complex, and we encourage compassion, privacy, and due process for all parties involved. Our focus right now is simply ensuring that everyone is safe and supported. We appreciate the public’s understanding and ask for respect regarding their family and personal privacy during this time.”
