Nigerian food critic Opeyemi Famakin shared his thoughts about the growing number of Nigerian content creators relocating to China.
According to him, creators may end up exposing too much about the country online, just as he believes happened in places like Canada, the United States and Italy.
“Content creators will spoil China for Nigerians just like they spoilt Canada, USA and Italy. Most of them are now in China doing what I don’t know. They’re casting everything there and showing everybody everything. We have a big mouth in this country, I’m not trying to gatekeep,” he said.
His statement has attracted mixed reactions online, as some people agreed with his concerns while others felt content creators are simply sharing their experiences and opportunities in China.
