Yomi Fabiyi calls Nigerians hypocrites over insecurity

Actor Yomi Fabiyi has expressed frustration over what he described as the “selective reaction” of many Nigerians to injustice and insecurity in the country.

The actor said many people are quick to demand justice at the moment an incident happens, but soon return to their normal lives while victims are left without support.

According to him, several lives were lost and many citizens were kidnapped during the administrations of former presidents Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari, yet public attention faded with time.

Speaking further, Yomi also mentioned the case involving late singer MohBad, saying the demand for justice and the arrest of all suspects has gradually reduced.

He said:
“Why is it that many 9jas are Hypocrite? You will see them clamouring for justice this minute the next minute they have moved on with their lives
Look at the numbers of people kpai and kidnapp£@ during Johnathan and Buari regime, we only screamed and everybody kept quiet. The same thing is happening today so many people are In captivity, look atthe case of Mohbad that l needed support to get all suspect arr£$Ted.But nobody Is talking anymore Abt it.

‘Even the so called celebrities are quiet until It happens to them that’s when everyone will have the idea of what l have saying and the government will never take us serious because they know we are Hypocrite”

Yomi added that the government may continue to ignore the people if citizens fail to remain united and consistent in demanding justice.
