The global artist Drake has become the first artist in history to occupy the top three positions on the Billboard 200 albums chart in the same week.
The milestone was achieved after three of his albums ICEMAN, HABIBTI, and MAID OF HONOUR debuted simultaneously on the latest Billboard 200 chart. The albums entered the chart at No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 respectively, marking a first since the chart began tracking weekly album rankings in 1956.
Billboard’s official chart methodology, which measures album performance based on streaming, sales, and track-equivalent units, confirmed that no other artist has ever simultaneously held the top three positions in a single tracking week.
Industry data shows the albums generated hundreds of thousands of equivalent album units in their first week, driven largely by streaming activity across all three releases.
The achievement places Drake in a unique position in chart history, surpassing previous near-misses by other artists whose catalogs had strong multi-album chart presence but never simultaneously occupied the entire top three spots.
Billboard has recorded no prior instance of a single act achieving this feat, making it one of the rarest milestones in modern chart history.
